BARSTOOL INDIANA

As the College Viceroy for Barstool Indiana and Hoosier Chicks, my role was centered on creating a dynamic digital presence that captivated our target audiences. Previous to my onboarding, the viceroy before me stuck to a frequent posting schedule and only used user submitted/outside sourced videos. So when I started managing the accounts, I decided to capitalize on virality aspects in trending videos while creating relatable and original content.

I researched current trends, followed news and sports at the university, checked our analytics for the best times to post, and used my experiences as a female Greek life student to create original content.

By understanding the community I was posting about and the platforms I was posting on, I crafted content that not only entertained but also prompted interaction. This approach facilitated a surge in audience engagement, contributing significantly to the platforms' overall success and increase in followers.

The reach of Barstool Indiana and Hoosier Chicks experienced a surge, skyrocketing over 12 million views. This expansion was not merely a numerical triumph; it represented a substantial increase in the platforms' visibility and influence within the college community.

Furthermore, the growth of the platforms' following underscored the effectiveness of this strategy. A 21% increase in the follower base displayed the resonance of the content and the success of the engagement tactics employed.
