ORIGIN MARKETING AGENCY

In my role of content strategist and creative, it was my job to amplify the overall digital presence of our clients. My responsibilities encompassed the end-to-end process of social media content—from conceptualization to execution and ongoing management.

I approached content creation with a keen understanding of the unique identity of each client I had. By delving into their narratives, values, and aspirations, I crafted content that not only resonated with their target audience, but that also showcased their distinct personality. This personalized touch ensured that each piece of content was a compelling representation of the talent or brand, fostering a deeper connection with followers.

Regular engagement with the executive team was a key part of my role. In weekly meetings with the CEO, Operations Manager, and the internal team, I presented strategic content initiatives. These sessions were opportunities to showcase and get feedback on the work I was coming up with. After ideas were edited and approved, they would go to my teammate in Los Angeles and she would record the content with the clients to get sent back for editing by either one of us. After uploading the content for that week, I would gauge the impact of current strategies through key performance indicators and present the outcome to the team, where we would then fine-tune our approach for optimal results.

To stay ahead of the curve, I conducted thorough research to track current media trends for each individual client. This research was crucial in informing the development of strategic content. By analyzing emerging trends and outside mentions, their audiences behaviors, and competitor landscapes, I ensured that each client’s content remained fresh, relevant, and aligned with their audience. This commitment to data-driven decision-making was instrumental in maintaining the competitiveness of Origin.

With our brand clients, there was a clear need for more engaging and personal content to enhance their social media profiles. This is why for each brand client I worked with, I would again pitch content for approval, but instead of having my coworker in LA film with the brand’s products, I would film and edit content personally.

In essence, my role went beyond routine content management—it involved the implementation and management of a comprehensive and dynamic digital strategy. From individualized content creation, to strategic analysis and continuous adaptation to industry trends, I played a central role in enhancing the digital footprint of both talent and brands.
